Hi there, I've got a mini with a R1 5PW and don't know how to fit the power commander as there is no plugs left after the loom was spliced into the mini loom ( done by the person I bought the project off ) How do I get it to fit without replacing the whole loom. Any help will be much appreciated.

thought power commander was connected in-line? so you unplug a connection and it has mating plugs.. so you plug it into the system

That's what I thought, this loom doesn't have any plugs free O_O Didn't know whether there was a way of splicing the pc3 in. I really don't want to have to do redo the whole loom

You're right it's just a piggyback device with four connectors. I think you would need to identify each wire on the R1 wiring diagram to be able to integrate the two successfully.

On a 5pw you basically disconnect ecu loom plug(6pin?) and plug either end into power commander
