We've had blu-min for a couple of years. I've tinkered and changed the engine / interior over that time.

She is a 1994 Sprite with a Circa 1989 1275cc Metro engine in.

Anyway, she went off for her MOT last month and passed BUT, there was a rather large list of advisories!

After some debate, we have decided to rebuild her completely and sort out the many issues including the fact that she is starting to turn from blue to orange.

So the to do list consists of:
  • Sort the rust on the scuttle, sills and a-panels + any more we find.
  • Replace wings and front end due to a slight parking disagreement
  • replace bumpers
  • replace headlining due to hole
  • Sort dashboard
  • Tidy / fix the rest of the interior
  • Replace front bearings, ball joints and bushes etc
  • Refurbish rear subframe
  • Refurbish or replace wheels
  • Replace engine seals (very leaky at the moment)
  • Replace / fix boot and bonnet
  • Part or full respray depending on amount of welding required
That should keep me going and I am bound to find more. The plan is that every part gets checked and refurbished or replaced before going back on the car.

I tested the engine compression the other day and all seems good there.
