"I'm after some advice.
I want to give diy spraying a go, well at least the primer and prep and then i'll get a professional to apply the top coat."
I'd be near 100% certain a professional body shop painter would prefer to apply the base primer himself as he wouldn't spray over an unknown base primer or someone else's prep work. If the top coat reacted he'd have to redo all at his own expense. He might apply a sealer coat over base primer and work from there. Contaminents in base paint can easily ruin a top coat.. IMO.

This, if you do find someone who'll spray over your work they probably won't guarantee it
