I'm slightly scraping the bottom of the barrel with Penelope Keith and Patrick Moore (makes me sound very old and boring ) and no photos either. A bit more fun for me on the Mini front is that my Dad lives in Michael Caine's former home. I think he bought his family up there and lived there for a number of years. My dad still gets sent fan mail for him!

I had the misfortune to meet and spend some time with Savile when he did the RAC Rally in 1973 with my friend Jill in an Escort RS. I was running about 3 minutes ahead of them on the road sections and Jill had to follow me as Savile couldn't navigate. I never took to him and neither did Jill. He was a strange creepy guy even back then and wanted to spend all his time in his hotel room with young girls.

Yes, that was my back garden.

If you cant guess, the guy on the quad in the first pic will be well known for a Levi advert some years ago and had a habit of jumping over things.

The chap on the left in the first pic ran on two wheels too.

and for your info, the toddler is the quad riders son, with me riding his dads quad and the other young lad in the white t shirt is my son (TangoGT on this forum, Now 20 years old! )

And i have now dispelled the myth that Yoda is small, green,wrinkled and ugly.

I am just Ugly.

I think the Stig may have been younger than a child LOL ( just joking ) I am a few years older now than in those pics!

Also, those pics were taken over a fair period of time. I have loads, just picked these out randomly

And i just remembered, the guy taking the first picture was standing on his head at the time, thats why we were laughing LOL

i sold a mini to rowan attkinson, i didnt want to trouble him for a photo as it had been a very long evening sorting things out, but i did get him to sign a book for me.

the mini he bought was truly terrible though, i was very tempted to tell him directly not to buy it!

he did drive me a few miles in his own car though to go and pick an engine up he was also buying from a friend of mine.

Me and a mate sat next to Gary Lineaker on an Easyjet flight.

Also sat in the flightdeck with Mike Bannister on Concorde (he was the Cheif Concorde pilot - definately a celebrity in aeroplane circles )
