Can't believe a VX220 has been mentioned. I've had 2 of them and they're brilliant

I only had one - but I kept it for 4 years, which is the longest I have ever kept an everyday car without getting bored with it!

Like you, I know that ABS is pretty useful on a rear engined sports car that only has 130kg as each front corner weight!

I would have thought that a transverse engined VX220 would appeal to a driving God like you! Mine was less forgiving than either Chevron I've driven [B16 not B8]

1.9 was £6 more on insurance for me, i just ended up with a 1.6
no build threads as i didn't take any pics, i just built it
