Snow in South Africa? I didn't know it did that there!

He's halfway up a mountain, if you're lucky he might yodel for you :teehee:

Jared, you're getting there, what's the 'hoped for' completion date?

I'm probably in one of the top 10 coldest places in this country, maybe even top 5. And yes, quite high up, so the weather is strange

I've come to terms with the fact that she'll be ready when she's ready. The sooner the better, but I don't want to rush and cut corners now. I'm nearing the end slowly.

New cross pin diff looks great! I've got one of them on the shopping list for the end of my build too

And so easy to assemble as well. This diff with your HS setup should see me being trouble free (hopefully).

I FINALLY got my rim centres back. What a difference! Also assembled one of the wheels to see what it looks like - well pleased :

I haven't seen others fitted with centre caps. There probably are, but I like these look OEM  :proud:

I just wish the paint was up to scratch on the car . . .

The paint is still decent. I'm sure you can get it closer to what you want it to be, but it still looks good.

Ideally it needs to be repainted.

I finally got the diff swap completed - easier job than expected. I just hope it doesn't leak now . . .

I also got around to fitting the Force wheels again. I'm rather pleased with the results and glad I changed the colour :

The wheels are absolute perfection! The colour compliments the paintwork so nicely. Also, top job on the diff rebuild. The shiny aluminium casings are a nice touch.

Looks very good Jared!

When I swapped to the HS joints I left the studs on the output shafts. You should be able to slide the couplings on the driveshafts out far enough to get the engine in. It's a lot easier than trying to get the studs in with the engine in the car!

I didn't think of that. Thank you! I can just imagine the swearing if I didn't fit them first.

I bought myself some NOS spot lamp covers for a rather reasonable price (read almost nothing) :

These look good and will be good for driving in areas with lots of dust.
