Hi,

For all you MPi lovers who own one of the last minis made in the year 2000 (the 'classic' range), those of us at the Cooper Sport 500 register have launced a sister website, forum and set of registers for these cars.

www.2000miniregister.com (and .co.uk)

There were 2500 classics made for the UK (more for Europe) which are roughly broken down into the following numbers (estimated)

Mini Classic Seven - 300 cars

Mini Classic Cooper - 300 cars

Mini Classic Cooper Sport - 1900 cars

The Cooper Sport 500's have had a regsiter and website for years now, but the previous 2500 cars which in the case of the Cooper Sports are basically identical, there is nothing specifically for them (apart from the Rover Cooper Register at www.coopercooper.org)...........until now!

For 2013 the 500 register will be sharing club stand space with the new 2000 register so we can have more cars, more variety and more interest in all of the final cars ever made.

Come on over to the new website and join us.

Regards,
Andy

I also have a register for other MPi's too, so the 2000 register is open to others too to join in. I'll add another page for other 2000 minis me thinks!

Lucky me, I actually have a Class Cooper with the optional sports pack, not the Cooper Sport!

I feel special having one of only 300-400 made!
