Hello,

Just wondering.. when you have new piston rings put on ya piston.

Do you have to get the bore "honed" to have it de-glazed so that the piston rings bed in better... or is that just not true?

Personally I would say it was, other wise its like a wet finger on the side of a glass haha!

The ones you put in a drill are de-glazers and a quick run with them it sufficient, only if you are ham-fisted will you reshape the bore, just a quick run up and down 2 or 3 times should be enough
