Practical Classics mag released their Top 100 classic car poll this minth - and our beloved Mini came in 4th! :D We were beaten by 3. Jag E-type; 2. MGB, and 1. Morris Minor :D
The editors couldn't understand it either! They were sure the Mini would come in 1st or 2nd!
No accounting for taste, then!

its all mini underneath!....just none of the rust!

its called a mini jem, they were a fibreglass shell you could buy to convert your rusty mini, from the mid 60's up until the mid 70's.

mine has a 1293 engine from m.e.d., 276 cam 1.5:1 rockers, single hif 44 su carb. the gearbox has a 2.9 diff for relaxed cruising, but it still goes well as its quite light.

ooo sweet Jem :D I used to have a MkIV Marcos but I was too young and inexperienced to finish the project. I'll get another one day when I'm rich.

they aren't dear, you can pick a marcos up for about £1000-£1500,might need a little tlc, but even the good ones are only about £5000.
