my girlfriend ordered a complete front subframe assembly from classic mini bits on august the 24th and so far we have have not received anything.

They said when ordering from them they would contact us to arrange collection as it takes them up to 25 days to build up, we thought that was fine so we waited.. and waited. a month and a half had passed and still heard nothing, due to ebay and paypals policy of if the transaction occurred more than 45 days we cannot claim our money back, so on the 40th day we sent a message and had no reply, and on the 44th day we sent another saying we will have to start a dispute for an unreceived item as we have heard nothing from them, got a message back almost instantly saying why are we going to dispute as its ready and has been for a few weeks.. they said they had e-mailed me to say it was ready.. but we have had no e-mails from them. apparently the guy, jason i think his name is was on holiday and told me to message him the next week to arrange collection, so we did, muliple times.. and heard nothing. tried ringing the works phone number and mobile numbers but nobody ever answers them. ive had one reply on ebay that they were having problems and were going to send it out to me free of charge. ive messaged them since but im getting no reply, i e-mailed them directly and i have had 1 back which was over 2 weeks ago.which they responded they were very sorry and was going to push it to the front of the line as there was some kind of confusion with collection/delivery. I took their word for it on the 44th day as they looked like a very reputable business with alot of positive feedback and they just seem like a bunch of scammers who are £475.00 up on me now, going to try going through trading standards to see if we can claim our money back, so if you are thinking of dealing with this company i would AVOID.

This isnt the first time ive heard such a story, similar timescales and similar messages when gone to paypal dispute.

Also, I think ebay's policy is that generally you must have the item your selling, so to say it will take x amount of days/weeks from your payment isnt quite right if they follow ebay policy. Not many people do though.
