Some diffs (quaife springs to mind) do have a switcheable box for reverse and indeed you do have 6 reverse gears. Would hate to try it out though, and I'm not sure that the transfer gear is designed for hyper-reverse speeds anyway:p

Wonder if Z Cars have seen this yet

My mate had one of those 50cc 3 wheeler van / pickup things which was geared like a lambrettor. With the clutch, and twisting handle gear selector.
It had a switchable box, and 5 reverse gears. He had 45mph in reverse once, then lost it and rolled the thing!

Interestingly, the Radical SRV8 recently set the fastest lap record at the ring' fairly recently, but the germans refused to acknowedge the fastest time because it has british number plates and not german ones.... >

I dont think you will see many cars with that engine fitted, they are about 40 grand a pop!!
