i wouldnt rule out one of the later mpi's however, i picked a nice tahiti blue sportspack up for 5 and a half grand with hardly any problems, the dealer i got it from spent a lot of money previously before me repairing all the rust etc, however it had only dont 30,000 and has been on the channel islands all its life. i might have just been lucky...but like all minis its bound to rust in the future, but thats what i got a mini for...as a project that i can continually work on. One tip i will stick with that everyone on here has said before...if you ever need to buy anything for your mini, stick to genuine parts and you cant go wrong or you will end up spending more than the cost on cheap parts in the end.

best of luck with your hunt!, everyone can alwyas tell you what mini's they want...but its down to personal preferance in the end.

No :-( the one that is customised is from minispeed..... Looks an amazing car but a bit pricey. But I want to look all the same you never know this time of year I might get a deal. The other one is a rover mini cooper sport pack one ( the one someone mentioned in this thread a bit earlier)

The car is kept here at the moment, but it isn't our car, it belongs to a customer who works at McLaren the F1 team, the price has a little flexibility in it so you could walk away with a deal :) http://www.facebook....94170659&type=1

I've personally driven it to and from the Castle Combe show in September and it was really fun to drive and got a LOT of attention as its so unique.

Sorry, but I'd buy the sportspack, I've never liked mini's with that style of modification.

That's the beauty of minis, everyone likes something different and with a mini you really can have whatever you like :)

I might be a bit biased, but I don't think you can go wrong with a Sportspack - as long as the price is right. Too many that I see for sale seem to have rust in 'the usual places' which the price doesn't reflect. Konyo's looks stunning though.

Well Konyo's dads sports pack has been bought. Pick it up on Saturday .... Can't wait

Going to be doing a pressie run for the children in frimley park hospital with a load of American V8s so that should be fun.

If anyone wants to tag along ( with. Pressie or two as well ) going to get breakfast in bagshot then head off to frimley at about 12
