What about the labour to professionally weld it all together? Out of interest, what is the price difference between the parts individually and the full floor panel?

It is not seperate panels mate... its one big complete floor with everything on it... its awesome...

Now the price of labour is another thing entirely.... if there doing it properly... so picking out the spot welds. It has taken the guy I have doing mine about 40hrs or drilling, grinding, making patch panels and welding but I want mine perfect and the for steps where not great either.

Edit: to answer the seperate or complete question. I brought 2 gen half panels with inner and outer silks and Half heal board.. that cost me 538 pounds

Sorry, those questions were aimed at Andi-p. His last post suggested that the £535 was too much compared to buying all of the floor panels separately.

Oh ok lol... well the complete panel is alot cheaper if your replacing it all... but its one lump sum whereas the seperate parts are installments.

I could get a pic of the new floor tacked in if you'd like to see the sexiness... and what a mini floor is ment to look like? Lol

How I see it is that the price of the floor pan, cross member, heelboard, jacking points, sills and any other bits on the full floor panel doesn't add up to £535

there is more work involved egro it will be dearer than the price of the separate panels.

The complete floor panel is £190 the cross member is £60, heel board £60, jacking points £8 each, sills £25 each. I see it as around £375 plus a bit more for selt belt mounts and battery cable clips. In my OP I was just wanting the opinion of the panel, What they are like for fit, shaping or trimming?

that is non genuine panels... totally different panels and about 30 extra hours of beating the **** out of them, cutting them and generally making them look bad to get them to fit. if your going to buy cheap panels be ready to have a cheap looking car because that is all you will end up with.

genuine heritage panels is the only panels you should buy if you want a nice looking car without covering it with filler.

this is how a panel should fit. (that is mine with the genuine panel. you will notice it has not beet re shaped or cut in any way. just cleaned the paint off and slotted it on.

Just looked on the Somerford mini's website and the panel in OP is the same one they suppky and is the same price and even has the same part numbers. So under the assumption that the one Minispares has listed with out all the added extras is a Heritage panel.

I fitted one of the floors you're asking about Andy-P. Fitted OK and was actually pretty easy, though my car was fully stripped and on a spit. I tried to save the cross member but in the end that had to come out and be replaced with a new one.

Thats the kind of reply I have been looking for. Upon further research on the internet that the panel pictured and with part no. CZH2669 is a Heritage panel. That is the sort of answer I was looking for.
