I've decided to supercharge my 998 mini
Currently the specs are as follows

998
Kent266
1.5 roller rockers
Hif38 with med itg induction system

I'm jus waiting for my supercharger to arrive in the post
I'm going to be using a decompression plate but its only tempory until I have the funds to get my 12g295 head converted to unleaded and modified

Final specs will be

998 supercharged
Kent 266
1.5 rollers
Hiff44 k&n airfilter
4 blade carbonfiber fan

I will upload pictures of my progress

I could be corrected on this but I thought the 998 engine could run a turbo or supercharger on low boost with on lowering the compression ratio

Any reason behind the 1.5 rockers? i was under the impression 1.3s were more effective on a small bore?

Also, what 'charger are you using? and i'm assuming this is going to be a suck through setup?

Yh I'm using a vmax setup ant thing of changing it to a blow through in the future
I chose 1.5 rockers because they were red lol
I'm using them at the moment N/A and work fine for me but then I'm always racing around

the only problem you might find (but i'm no expert on chargers) is the M45 in the vmax kit is known to be inefficient on a 1275, I don't know of anyone with the kit on a 998 though, so i dont know how it will perform on a small bore.

so do you know what compression ratio you'll have with the decomp plate? and what psi will the 'charger run at with your pulley?

Looks good though, will be interesting to see how it turns out. Do you know what power the engine had before you added the charger?

I'm not sure what power it will be
The engine was at around 47 bhp
I'm aiming for 80bhp

I have a 12g295 head ready to be machined ported polished and bigger valves
Then it will be 100bhp
