if the shell is minted and only requires minor prep, i would expect to pay around £1000 - £1500 depending if you can get it done for mates rates you might get it done cheaper. me and my dad have just painted my busa anglia and we had major problems with the paint, really small pinholes appearing in the paint, all in all we painted the car 3 times, (we took the paint off each time so there is only a normal amount of paint on the car) epic challenge :-( we are painting the 2 doors tomorrow night and thankfully that will be the paintwork finished :-) we used standox high solids 2k paint and the results are good, im well chuffed with the car. my anglia is ermine white with black roof . :-)

keep us posted with some photos :-)

getting the cage in two weeks! dont no weather to get shell painted first or build it then paint? dont fancy taking it all apart! when built.

its better to fit the frame and do the 4 wheel align before paint, this allows you to fit the arches in the correct position and do any other trimming up needed before the paint is on making it less of a worry and a better final finish (if this is an option)
