I honestly don't understand how people use an Android device, Just see people swiping furiously from left to right. Thats why my Nan can use an iPad but not a Nexus 7.

I phone snobbe @ noah. I don't think either phone is better, its just personal preference. I've had android for years and had no problem. My mate always asks me to view youtube vids as it does full screen and his iphone doesn't.

if anyone is looking for a smartphone i would strongly recommend a Nexus 4... Low cost and very powerful... and it doesnt come with all the crap that venders load onto the phone...
Give it a shot... if you can find one... Alot of people want it...

Android are so much better than they used to be, but IMO I still think the iPhone takes it for pure simplicity and it integrates so easily with every other Apple device. I know people will moan about the cost but you really do pay for what you get in terms of build quality etc.
However for your uses, I really would say they conned you a little. Like someone else said, you would have been much better off getting a £10 a month deal with no phone and either using your current phone or a cheap non-smartphone off Ebay.
How long have you had the phone? Im pretty sure there is a time in which you can return it if you really don't get on with it. Failing that, look on ebay for an old phone. Some of the old Nokias are fairly cheap and are solid. I used to dunk one of mine and drink beer from the case all the time haha.
