
How Do You Work Round The Rubbish Heating System?

My current routine is:
1) Start the car, and turn the rear screen heater on
2) Scrape the side windows, back first
3) Scrape the front windscreen, if necessary
Normally this means there's a bit of heat in the car by the time I start moving.
Not much but I hope this helps

good condition cooling system
correct mixture and use of choke
maybe block of some of grill in really cold weather.

Was going to say, the standard Mini heater is very warm! Mine is toasty in winter, perhaps too toasty!The standard heater is really warm

Agreed, mine gets really warm inside after about 10 mins.. No trouble with mine at all.

Sounds like I may have to do that too - mine's warm, but not roasting. I normally have it on full blast for most of my commute by which time it's warm, but only after about 45 mins do is get really warm.

Its not running through the radiator until the engine is warmed up, and thermostat opens anywayUntil the engines warm there's no point turning the heater on because effectively your just adding another radiator with the cooling fan turned on lol
