Well, he got his first bath in 8 months today O_O was a bit strange compared to the polo

WP_20140208_002_zpsebb481ed.jpg

Got a few bits on the way from Optimise Automotive, some sunvisor covers and rear bin covers to match the headlining. I've also bought some MPI Rear bin cover thingys from a guy on here, so the interior should look a lot better when all of that stuff is in.

As far as progress goes that's about it, I seem to be spending forever doing Uni work just lately, but when the weather perks up I'll get the front dropped so he sits nice. I'll be able to go quite a bit lower than before as the new arches are mounted slightly higher up the wing compared to the old ones.  =]

No, I tried one about 2 years ago but it was like driving a bus! I much prefer a smaller wheel, makes things much more fun :-)

Stumbled across some pictures today on Minimine's bookface page  :proud:

I've also got some Silent Coat on the way, so should be able to put the inside back together again when that's all down. I'm a bit dubious as to whether it'll make much difference or not but hey ho...

So spooky that you have a 6N2 red 3r as a daily as you restore your dark red with contrasting roof Mini.....I was exactly the same

That is a bit weird! Great minds and all that!  ;D Absolutely love the 6n2, it really is a cracking little car. Speaking of which, I drove it down to Oxfordshire and back today to pick up Vinnie's new interior courtesy of james962 (cheers dude!)

I despised mine.  Slow, handled like a bag of sh!te, bad on fuel for such a small car and unreliable.  Apart from that it was great though.

Really? Granted, it's pretty slow, but handles alright with the different springs and shocks, and gets 52mpg. Maybe yours was a bad egg?

Got bored and fitted the steering wheel. Why not?

Just need some new screws for the boss, as the old ones are looking a bit tired  =]
