This will look great when finished and in a nice unusual colour.

Sorry , not been here for a while, heres some pics of all original tags
Don't mind at all Ollie, cracking looking gt you had there ,all the tags are still on my car and you are correct with the D20D number on the slam panel,I will have a job removing the 'FE' tag off the N/side inner wing as it has been spot welded through the letters onto the wing, the drivers footwell also still has a tag in place, they will all go back during the rebuild.Don't know if its of interest but some pics of my old car for you to see.
I would'nt have made the mods I did if I could do it again but I was much younger then and liked bolt on shiny bits and big wheels.
Hope you don't mind me posting on your thread Gareth.

SKOUGHI...original all the way is the plan, and it certainly is rusty
Very interested in the fact that your car has a slam panel number, FE tag and also a drivers footwell tag. I don't seem to have a footwell tag in my 1972 GT. What style of number is it? It is similar to the slam panel number...eg D20D?
Regards
I got my number plates from https://www.netplates.co.uk/. They are very affordable and good quality
