Chopper - thanks for the 30mm and 15mm figures. They will help me greatly.

Looks like the van retains he earlier air ducting hence you have no way of relocating the wiper motor on that side

Ethel - are you saying it is possible to keep the wiper motor on the LH side and move the wiper wheel boxes to the 'LHD correct' holes in the scuttle? If so then how is that done - 'because it might be neater than moving the wiper motor. I guess it means stripping the wiper rack down and 'altering' the outer tube so the wheel boxes are located in the correct place - yes? Or is there a LHD specific outer tube or wiper rack we can buy?

Methinks...BL or whoever at the time would have chosen that path at manufacture?
But I cannot see a way that (for me with van) the swept screen can be better without changing the arcs of the wipers. They cannot sweep the screen without fouling the rubber.

Mind you I write this with some number of pints of clarifying juice that may not after all be assisting...hic
