fair 'nuff. As you say, I can't imagine them marking them "for off road use only" if they aren't! I'll have to immerse myself in all the rulebooks to find if it says anything specifically in there.

As you also say though, It's not really necessary to have it adjustable all the time. When is set, its set! It just I'm taking a lot of weight out o the shell, and moving things (like people, petrol and batteries) around in it, so I'd like at least to get it right once before I "lock it down".

Aaaahhhh.....so thats the KAD bias all the bike engined guys are always talking about! cheers for that always nice to know. So that explains why it's so sexy...KAD ;D*

The fact your flexi lines don't wriggle under pressure is also good to know. It'll make me a bit less paranoid if I attempt it.

Definitely get good ones though. I suspect that cheaper brands would be prone to straightening out under pressure. Hel ones come in loads of colours too!

found it! (the brake bias valve thing!)

"the lever located so that it cannot be operated satisfactorily from the normal driving position"

it's point 2b HERE

Looks like a rethink is in order then!

Perhaps the distibution block can be changed for an adjustable one......?
