Shoot me if this is a stupid idea(especially as I know very little about it!!)

Could you use wire rings on the plates?

Other than that you are creating a large piston to deck height, which is not ideal for engine efficiency and hence ultimate power.


block, gasket, decomp plate and then head solves the piston/deck height issue.

Well it would do if the decomp plate was the same shape as the head chamber, but I've not seen on yet. Good idea though.

Wbat about a thick copper head gasket? If it were me id just buy turbo pistons. As in my opinion I would nt like stock ones running boost and breaking ring lands etc and proper pistons equel more booooost :)
