The most obvious answer is to get hold of a reasonable used replacement, especially if you're going to re trim it. They come up on Ebay fairly regularly, or you could try one of the specialist classic mini breakers that trade here on TMF such as Minijosh92 http://www.theminifo...228-minijosh92/.

The other option is Optimise Automotive (also a TMF trader) that produce their own padded dash rail covers http://optauto.easys...ash_Rail_Covers, although I think that their products are just covers that fit over your existing padded dash rail, so may not be appropriate for your needs.

Thanks mate I'll do some PM'ing, I think the other link is just for the covers and not the foam underneath, fits the foam that buggered on mine, I was planning on making my own cover with some cream leather I've got

No worries, try dropping R1minimagic a pm too, he's also a trader here that breaks classic minis. http://www.theminifo...43-r1minimagic/

Ive never had a problem removing bottom dash rails, they always come off in 1 piece, u gotta remove the switch plate, the chrome trim along the top, a couple of clips underneath, any extra switch panels, and peel off the rail
