Water collecting in the floor can come through the check strap seals or through the door itself.

You should never need sealant. Are you absolutely sure it's coming through the main seal?

We've got all the carpets out and with a hose pipe on it a small trickle of water comes over the inner sill about midway. I, just assuming its the door seal. I have replaced both sides check strap seals.

is the water getting inside the door, coming out behind the door card and dripping down the bottom of the door onto the top of the rubber ?
+1. Check the drain holes insdie the door to see if they are bunged up.

Nope, it looks like its actually coming down the seal. The door card plastic has already had silicone on to seal themis the water getting inside the door, coming out behind the door card and dripping down the bottom of the door onto the top of the rubber ?
