this would onmy be temporary fix of the problem,
i would install these at the same time as the new cones. but its best to replace them as the ride comfort will be a lot better aswell

sorry what would only be temperary?
and are the cones really bad or do you think they can wait for abit till after mot?

What I can't understand is why your sump is so low, but the suspension looks quite high. Might be the amount of material removed from the wings, but I can't quite tell.

thats why i was so confused hahha i think its the wings mateThe rears look all right to me from those pics. But yes, the fronts look a bit worn, but there is more weight on the front so I think they squish a bit more than the rears.
What I can't understand is why your sump is so low, but the suspension looks quite high. Might be the amount of material removed from the wings, but I can't quite tell.

The rubber cones deteriorate through time and usage. Maybe good for 10 to 12 years max on a lightly used car, or 150k miles at 30k a year. Depending how you drive, and what load you carry, maybe a bit more, or less.
Please don't ruin the car by fitting a flip front.
