Are some of the later drave shaft castle nuts 34mm? I have a MiniSport built hub set up and my 1 5/16" socket is certainly too small, calculating it out the next size up in Metric is 34mm.

I assume that if this is the case it is also a metric thread on the CV and I can't replace the nut with a proper sized one?

Yes newer ones are 34mm, older ones are 33 i think, They have the same thread though. (At least mine did)

Older ones are 1 5/16", not at all metric in any way. New ones are designed for metric tools but the old ones are available still and they all have the same thread.

Just found both on Minispares, shame the imperial sized ones are twice the price of the metric ones!
