i have a mk2 mini complete need restore

My son has a nice little mini for restoration, not much needs doing, a bit of welding, on floorpans, maybe a new heelboard but could be patched! The paintwork will need a tidy up but generally it is fairly sound. the car will come with a 1275 with a crunchy gearbox, but the original 998 will be included and that has a good gearbox. It has a nice playmini twin exhaust and a set of bucket seats that have orange pinstriping to match the car colours. He does not really want to sell but we are moving to a smaller house and no longer have the room to keep all our Mini's, so it has to go. Its a shame we are a fair few miles away though. This was a few years ago when we built the car from a shell and loads of new parts, but if you are interested, make us an offer and see what we can do.

Dunno what issues you are having, but the site and forum is fine for our members, Maybe someone else here can check out the links for me?

But here is a taster.




If you look closely, you can see a fair few paint chips and in some places the paint has started to peel a bit round the edges where the previous owner did a respray without proper preparation. But all in all its a good base for a project. Like i said, Make an offer and we can go from there.

Runs good etc body could do with bit of work was quoted for whole re spray in Durham area for £500 this included remove all rust spots mostly surface rust have new arches need fitted. Can email some more photos if required

I have a mini convertible with log book , put a new front end on it floor pan, states that it is a convertible on the log book as was tested before I rot got to the wings and scuttle just needs a hood and re spray to finish and a nice interior it's a 1981

I have a '76 mini pickup BARE SHELL that some one started to make into an autograss truck. Down side is It'll take lots of time and cash to make it look right again. I have V5, all plates made new (engine, VIN, Commissioning) original FE number. The head liner frame, two doors and some other peices that came with it.
