The problem with just ignoring it, is that it can escalate as they begin to think no one will do anything. Half the reason we have the hassle we do in this country is that we ignore too much. I lived in Holland for a while and the kids had respect, partly culture, partly because the community would come together and give them a (gentle) slap if they got too far out of line. Do that over here and you would end up in front of the wig. I was told last year I was 'lucky' not to get done when I gave some kids a bollocking for throwing rocks at my neighbours house, she is 80! The police and courts are a major part of the problem over here.

What exactly were you planning on doing when you caught any of them?
If someone had done something to my car I wouldn't be able to post about it on here. I'd either be in a jail cell or still stomping on someone

I wanted to catch us with them and dare them to say **** to my face. I had my blue bobble hat on at the door which I should of took off when I went because I think that's what they noticed when I was trying to catch up with them before they started running away. Really wanted to catch up with one of the main ones. Cheeky prick!

Why do they have to be such *******?
At the girlfriends mums house and bunch of about 6 16 year olds walking home from school decided to start throwing snowballs at the girlfriends mums and next doors windows, so I went out to ask why the hell do that and got a load of **** from them. I was at the front door only in a vest and shorts so couldn't really go outside at that point. Anyway as they were still walking away they decided to start throwing them again and hit my car a few times too, so thought I ain't having that and went to get my shoes and socks on and as soon as they saw me coming all of them started running so I went after them lol. They were already a bit in front and I ran a fair bit to try and catch up with them, especially 2 of them that were the main ones but I was getting puffed out lol.
Act like such dicks, at least have the balls to not run.

Alright fair enough, but when you've got 6 of them throwing them and making more and keep throwing them knowing people are in!

When I was a kid some of my mates would wind people up on purpose to make them chase them. They got an odd thrill out of it. Used to call it 'getting a chase'.
Anyway they didn't wind up people who wouldn't react. Certain people around the neighbourhood got themselves a reputation for being easily goaded into a 'chase'. The angrier the reaction the better as far as they where concerned.
Be careful not to turn yourself into a target for the little sh*ts to deliberately annoy.

This reminded me when I was handing the keys to my council rented garage back as the area it was in, was a bit dodgy to say the least. Anyway while waiting in the local authority renting waiting room, there was this lad, who started talking to me. He was dressed in the usual tracky bottoms, hood, covered in cuts, bruises, scratches and had a leg and arm in plaster. He told me he had just spent two weeks in hospital. I said "what happened". He told me he got chased by 10 skin heads on his estate. I said you want to learn to run quicker mate, he said "oh I did, they weren't a problem, left them for dead, it was their three alsatians that caught me. I accidentally laughed down my nose and snotted everywhere.
