Mini Limo Info

whats involved in building one. Anyone know if these are done on an Individual basis or if there is a panel kit to assist with the conversion ?
Anyinfo would be great..

The local Mini garage near me made one a year a so ago, Surf Blue - Mini Limo think they used a couple of minis and welded them together, it's really nice tho!!!

Compiling a list of who to contact just now.
no kit is available, is usually 2 mini's welded together and strengthened! you have to do it in teh right place to look ok though as the mini is narrower at the back than it is at the front!!
Yip, looks like the front panels are taken off and the front subframe is attached to the rear of the other car...
along with other panelwork and strengthening...
TMF Limo project ???
On with the research, but if anyone finds pics or any little bits of info, contacts etc, please post them how ever little the info is..

there was a stand at bingley that had an open top stretched one. i have a pic somewhere, might have a number on............................

not bad actually
this one started in the Uk, and now lives in the USA, built on a space frame..
nice headliner with elec sunroof
air con and sat nav fitted too
Oh man I am really wanting to build one...!

Also thanks for that miniboo, basic build cost 6k inc a new heritage shell, thats pretty damn good..!
Shame it is not for the Limo though, I reckon double that for completeproject cost..

obvoiusly double that for complete but a good starting point..
that price is for rebuilding a normal car as it is the main part of his business! the limo cost more than that!!

I was going to say why would you want a new heritage shell if your just going to cut it up?
