A while ago there was a mini limo on Ebay, looked great and since then I have been thinking about
whats involved in building one. Anyone know if these are done on an Individual basis or if there is a panel kit to assist with the conversion ?

Anyinfo would be great..

no kit is available, is usually 2 mini's welded together and strengthened! you have to do it in teh right place to look ok though as the mini is narrower at the back than it is at the front!!

Cheers MP, at this point any info helps... and if this comes off, then I may even drive you ..!!

Compiling a list of who to contact just now.

Yip, looks like the front panels are taken off and the front subframe is attached to the rear of the other car...
along with other panelwork and strengthening...

TMF Limo project ??? :w00t:

On with the research, but if anyone finds pics or any little bits of info, contacts etc, please post them how ever little the info is..

cheers

obvoiusly double that for complete but a good starting point..

that price is for rebuilding a normal car as it is the main part of his business! the limo cost more than that!! :w00t:

Would not go down the new shell route for something like this as you say Jammy, no point cutting up a new shell..
