I was able to get the left and right floors installed.
Right side door sill fitted
Rear panel below the tail lights
And the right hand flitch panel fitted
Once I got the A-panels off I realized I needed a left hand flitch panel as well. So I've ordered a couple more body panels that I need so I can get the shell finished and on to the suspension.

Front subframe
And the rear.
I am hoping I can get all of the suspension powder coated this week or next week but I'm not doing them is the regular black. I'm going to do something very different.
On a different note, I went to a British car swap meet today to see what I could find, and this is what I found...
A 12g295 in decent shape and looks unmolested
An aluminium rad that I can get cleaned up
I was also able to pick up a water pump and some bump stops that I needed.
This week will be my last week of school for the summer so I should have a lot more time to be able to work on the little old lady.

Should this not be a twin bolt front subby for a early model car?

Yes it should but I am fitting this subframe because it is what I have to convert from the hydro suspension to a dry suspension.

On the wheel front. How is a 998 going to push sticky 13" tyres through a corner?

amazing project.

On a side note Ivor has a point here, although if you're running it for track I assume it'll be pretty stripped out?
Again, good luck and I can't wait to see how it turns out!

you can run the twin bolt subframe on dry suspension
Very true but the springs won't be seated in the spring perch properly because the twin bolt was a hydro suspension. I also wanted the bigger bolts holding the subframe in, instead of the four tiny bolts on the older subframes.
As for the 1000 pushing the larger tires, I'm dropping the gear ratio to somewhere in between 3.7 and 3.9, I'm hoping to upgrade the valve train to handle more RPM and I will eventually be boosting the engine once I get the car where I want it.

a 3.7 or 3.9, more like 4.1 and it will strill struggle with the tyres through a corner. Why don't you just get a twin bolt subframe?
