Hi, I was wandering are the standard Spi seats half vinyl or half leather?

A majority of them are half vinyl, such as the limited edition covers on the Equinox seats etc. So the covers that have vinyl sides and cloth centres are in fact vinyl sides, not leather sides.
The ones that are actually leather are the full leather covers (not the ones that are cloth/different material centres).

I could swear the Cooper SPI seats are Half Leather.
They're the same pattern as the R.S.P the Black Lightening things.

It's not "Vinyl"..... it's "Leatherette"!! 
........ Which of course makes a fake/leather look plastic covering sound so much more sophisticated!!

Ours were vynl/cloth and were fitted to our 92 Cooper SPi

As above, they are not genuine leather but vinyl/leatherette on the sides. The centre part is cloth.

I do wonder myself if the full leather MPI seats are actually full leather or half leather half vinyl leatherette..

The seats from the Balmoral look the nicest. Half cream leather and other half a nice old mans check cloth.

Thanks for the replies! I understand why there are so many vinyl seats for sale because I thought I would just be downgrading if I got full vinyl seats but I guess I would have been upgrading
