looks good. I would have chopped the trailer frame work to fit the mini, rather than build custom hubs etc.

Looks out, but i would sort that camber. Had a "proton wira" on a X (2000) plate recently with a suspension failure on the rear, the tyres looked like that and were on steel wires about a inch across. Only found this out yesterday at MOT, which is were I left the car to be scrapped and went in search of a new one.

Not worth risking a blow out for sake on afew adjustments.

a, Why not admit the Insurance problem?
Enough people sell their cars on ebay under

"MINI 1275 (Registerd 998)...

b, Yea, Im going to sort out the camber. Im thinking about just getting another mini subframe, and going about it that way. Stupid enough, i scraped the subby last week!

Yeah Binge, it's called fraud.

Dumping the subby is a good thing, it'll only make it too heavy. This trailer's going to be nearing the Mini's towing capacity when it's empty anyway.

As for the roof, it's too narrow to make a lid with as standard. You need to make them about 4" wider to do that. And it's heavy.

alright ben,
trailer looks like its coming along well, building a trailer at work at the mo for a 30ft inflatable slide, and from the centre of the towing eye to the front of the trailler is 1150, this is copied from an ifor williams trailor, the length of the gives you your turning circle, this length is designed for larger vehicles , so you could probably reduce it for a mini

it will be 1/2 the price to buy a 998 auto because not many people like them. :D

Uuh....correction....form looking at autos they still fetch a good price...as 1) they are normally in good condition and 2) they are always low mileage!! ;D

alright binge. I reckon you should look up the laws on trailers, then work out a design that takes these into account. It'll save you time and money if you get it right first time. What are you using the trailer for?

have to admit i missed the angle you had set inside the wheel arch and had only seen the angle on the boot floor ........ bloody dialup lol at least i can admit when im wrong lol

can you not add a spacer to the small angle in the wheel 2-3mm would correct the camber alot

i take it you are seam welding the angle even though theres not much to a trailer they get a pounding
