If your the kinda person who wants some footage to go along with it for reference then theres a few you tube vids but me personally I'd just get this DVD instead, probably will have some flaws but compared with you tube...

Much more cost-effective all round and you won't notice any difference in driving so long as the engine build is done thoroughly, carefully and well.

Much safer to go 1310 or even 1330

So doing a 1330 bore or something around that wont be much different to a 1380 in performance if everything else is the same?

1380 will be slightly better, but unless you need that little bit extra to win in the track it's pointless. You can make a 1330 go as fast as you could ever drive it!
That is absolutely right.
It's the two 'comics' that go on about 1380 engines. I wonder what they will do when the price of blocks is so high that people can't afford them and the 1380 needs re-building.
1275 blocks are already selling for twice what they were a few years ago.
1380 is fine if you want to knock a couple of tenths of a second off a lap time, but for a road car there is no point.
