Why would you do that!! Surely if you were going to that effort you would use a better engine! And a more practical! Cozzy YB lump comes to mind!

Atleast they've tryed to keep it somewhat original,i see radiator cowlings still there (most of it anyway) although its somewhat ironic due to the fact its aircooled >_< .

Why not just stick with the original a-series engine. The VW engine would produce less power!


I just want to see it get over a speed bump, its so low you'd smash the block!!

That nose is going to be really high, and it's still going to have exhaust height issues. And the ancilliaries are poking through the front of the grill? This will be scary if it works!

It is a VW engine, you can just about make out the casting stamps on the bottom of the block in the first pic.
