Fair play I've seen some bad welding and bodges in my time but I think it's be more structurally sound stuck together with actual pigeon crap

Plus it is a 4 cylinder!!!

Only one question - Why would someone fit a tin snail engine?

I was thinking that since the engine is the "wrong" way round.

Where did I see the question asked recently about which way a Beetle engine turns?

Why would you do that!! Surely if you were going to that effort you would use a better engine! And a more practical! Cozzy YB lump comes to mind!

yes the VW engine in standard tune doesn't make much power, but it can be tweaked to make good power and you often see beetles out dragging large American V8 powered cars

also the engine is very very light compared to the A series engine and has a very low centre of gravity

you can turn the diff around in the casing . it does drive on the wrong side of the gears but works

Yeah, but what I was saying is that if you went to all that effort surely ou would put something in that's got more go! The centre of gravity bit is understandable but he has mounted it so low that it's gonna hit something sooner or later! And the body is mounted so high that surely massive body roll is gonna occur!

Also, the ones that beat v8 dragsters probably cost huge amounts and are probably lifed in hoursXD

Id fit a YB in it. 360 brake at a stage 3 state of tune. Max out at around 800 hp 8)

That nose is going to be really high, and it's still going to have exhaust height issues. And the ancilliaries are poking through the front of the grill? This will be scary if it works!
