They've still got the plastic film on them so look rubbish.

Hopefully I won't have to explain it to you lot - ignore the J.

What do you think?

Fair enough, I don't mind them if they're to do with the car more than the driver.

Makes sense, but I live on NE London/Essex where the most recent one I have seen is ES55 EXX.

All faith in humanity gone.

ohh well, sounds like I'll just have to hope no one asks what it means

ye I wouldn't have bought it myself at the moment; could spend the money on the actual car but I can't complain it was a good surprise.

Looks good :D i've got personalised plates on the corsa but only because it was an 18th Bday prezzie 3 years ago, wouldnt have them otherwise bit of a pain in the neck when it comes to transferring them

I like it! I've always wanted a personalised reg. Saw one a few months back that read S666 MAX, totally awesome! My name and the fact that my mini is the devil himself (feels like that most of the time fixing him). Wasn't even that much either, wish I bought it now.

Cheers, hopefully I won't have to transfer them as the plan is to keep the car and even if I do sell I don't think I'd transfer it unless I got another mini.

The reason it wasn't that much is thats a age limited plate.

So it has to be fitted to an S-Reg or Newer car. So you wouldn't actually be able to fit it to Sheldon as he's an R-Reg. Lucky you didn't buy it!

 I know that feeling. All the money I got today will be going into the bodywork fund which will probably be dipped into a few times to keep it running in the mean time.
