did they try fitting the tyre from the back aswell as from the front?

I had difficulty with afew mini rims, but fitting them from the back worked better.

the well is in the middle so they can go on both ways
but just stopped the machine

On a lot of Mini wheels you need to install the tyre from the back of the rim. The well is nearly central but it's how I used to fit them.

Though reading through that old thread a lot of people have had this problem. Contact MWS if they are their wheels and ask for help.

hi
i have a set of 10 inch mws 6 inch wide wheels they look like deep dish revolutions

any info appreciated

Find a competent fitter!!

These are straightforward to fit, I've fitted quite a few sets for various customers, they're tight but not so tight to stop the machine! Sorry but that really is down to the fitters incompetence.

The tyre is fitted from the left side of the third picture in the original post, you can tell this by the tapered edge on one side of the wheel well (usually fitted from the rear face of these wheel types), with the correct type and amount of lubrication the tyres will go on without much drama,
unfortunately there's a lot of tyre fitters out there who can't work these simple things out!

Well i actually fit tyres and i took these tyres of my 10 inch rims without any issues. Just use WD40 mixed with tyre paste and they came off easy. Come pay me a visit id have no troubles with them.

if i was near you mate i would let you fit them where these the mws wheels
like i said they have tried both ways with clamps as well
a lot of new machines start at 13 inch wheels so no good for these
even an old school fitter gave up
cheers

I can do them on the john bean. Can also do them on the artigillo aka "jiggerlow" but i have shattered a cheap mini wheel on that machine before...just clamping it down so yes in another way be careful what cheap alloys you buy
