Suppressor? Where Does It Attach To? Thanks

1992 1275 carb British Open Classic
As the title says..i thought it was condensor of some kind but after reading couple questions on here i believe i have radio suppressor attached to coil bracket, but wire is not attached to anything and i can't remember where it used to go to...
i think it goes to terminal on coli maybe but * or -??

Suppressor goes on the end of the pistol for discreet shooting etc ... Sorry couldn't help myself.

If it is a suppressor its purpose is to prevent interference propagating back along the wiring, where it will obviously get to the radio etc, so it goes on the positive side of the coil (plain white wire or white-pink in a ballasted system). It has no effect whatsoever on the performance of the ignition system.

I asume not as reason for fitting one is to stop radio affecting coil/spark/performance, radios only ruin the mini fun
