White smoke from the exhaust is probabloy just condensation, keep an eye on the coolant level but this is most likely just all the dump in the exhaust being burnt off.

that depends on whether the engine is cold or not. Some white smoke upon startup doesn't necessarily mean much, but once the engine is hot, if you still get white smoke, something is amiss.

as for air lock.... warm the car up with the rad cap off (dont take off when the engine is hot or youll die, well at least get burned, sorry if im teaching you to suck eggs here) open the heater matrix fully and squeeze the bottom hose (put a thick glove on) you should see air bubbles come up to rad.

Thanks for your help guys.
Drove it today and it was fine, no visible smoke at all coming from the exhaust and it ran the best that it has done since I got it a few months ago. :)
