I've emailed the mini 7 chairman, Nick, but what do you think about me racing my K1200 cylinder head conversion A series in this class? I'd be interested in about 4/5 rounds a year.

I think it's only 5 port cylinder heads and the mig drivers won't like having faster cars joining in

Got an ex rallycross mini, would I need to fit lights etc ?? What lisence do you need ?? Got a pretty standard 1275, on single su what class would this allow me for ? Cheers Lewis

I dought it would be able to race in the migs, Im sure it will have to look pretty much like a mig.

Hay great activity in this thread, I'm going to be running my mini at brands hatch with the migs, you will require a National B race licence to compete I completed my ARDS tests at silverstone... http://www.silversto...-Coaching/ARDS/

A normal 2day 2 race event is around £330

Pitcrew are doing the all comers race as well at brands hatch

You don't have to look like a mig but can't be standerd ish ,needs to be well over 110+ well sorted car to go out as you be a mobile chicane

I'm reviving this post, since having a go in the invitation class I bought an S Class mini 7 and have done the last 8 races and haven't looked back since!! An awesome club with great racers and members now as a member myself I would like to bring this post back up and put the offer out to all you guys with track minis!

I think it's the entry fees and risk of damaging their pride and joy is what puts people of, I race mini bikes and it's only £40 per round and they do 2 rounds a weekend, so much cheaper than mini racing, I'd stillove to race a mini, maybe one day

Entry fees isn't bad compared to some. Historic is like £600-£700
Best thing I've done is build my miglia
