It's got loooaaaaads of history with it. Unbelievable to be honest.

Every old MOT, every old tax disc. I'd say that it's even got every single receipt. It's had a LOT of stuff done to it at Skip Brown's over the years. Thousands of pounds worth of receipts for subtle stuff and servicing/tuning. Pretty good stuff really.

Pretty much exactly what I was looking for in a 205. It'll be a daily hack until I've been out to Germany on the Retro Run in it. When I get back it'll be time to flog the Mini, buy a new daily driver and put this in the garage for some open heart surgery. I've got to do something special to it. It feels like it's a special car really.
So yeah, my plans are to keep it as it is for now. When I've sold the Mini, I imagine this will have a GTI-6 engine running through a 1.6 GTi box, might slap a set of Jenvey 45mm bodies on it and see if I can get some nice power out of it.
I need to get the wheels refurbed soon (they're genuine Speedlines) and not sure whether to go for Anthracite centres and polished rims. We'll see.

I also quite fancy finding a Strada and a MK2 Golf GTi so I can do my own speed test!
