My whole entire lifes collection of tools stolen from storage in the last 2 weeks.
Checked yesterday at 5pm and the lot is gone bar a few mini bits.
Stolen in Norwich Norfolk.
Everything from small air tools right up to a large red welder.

If anyone is offered or comes across a unique modified Kende 150 MAG welder please get in touch.

The welder has a euro torch fitted rather than original type with the side of the euro adapter cut off to stop it fouling the side opening door.
Inside it has an electronic gas control valve run from the Powerpack. (this is not original). The original torch on these is black red but his is blue and black with euro type connector.

Most other items are general garage stuff that would be hard to tell from other items apart from a RAC jack thats bright orange. Stored in a moulded black carry case.

All special mini tools and pullers etc, panel beating tools, air tools, boxes of flap discs and grinders etc, oddly camping equipment stolen too. Large tool box with specialist metal working tools (black with red handles) & much more.

If anyone in norfolk gets offered this or you see anything on gumtree or ebay etc etc I have a £100 reward for information leading to arrest.
Either contact me or:

PC 249 Ian Reed, Aylsham Police Station

Telephone non emergency number: 101

(I understand it probably impossible to get this lot back or to catch the pikeys but you never know unless you ask?)
Sadly uninsured due to storage.

Bar stewards!!! very sorry to hear this, i had all my tools stolen as a carpenter... some items they take are worth nothing to sell but they were priceless to me as they were sentimentally irreplaceable (often handed down)

I agree mate. Some old mini tools were original factory bits I had collected. Gutted!
Most was just cheapie stuff from sets I was bought at Christmas and birthdays over the years but still sucks a big one.

Taking a mans means to survive is sick.

Small breakthrough:

Another crime in the same area has been linked to this one and CCTV footage of a vehicle is being inspected.

interesting, I was broken into last yr and gave cctv footage to the pig's, break in was 1am 2 people 5'4" and a white Van......every-one on here reading this, invest in a alarm, even a cheap one, because they are noisy, will scare them off, and wake you up. (always have a gun nearby, well I have)
I hope they will get them and you will get some of yr tools back....

One thing i hate, is thieving noonies, check the usual haunts dude, ebay and gumtree etc
to others if you have a garage on your property an old biker trick is
1 put a baby monitor in there and reciever in ya house (you get used to the normal night time noises)
2 Fit one of these bad boys, scares the bejaysus out of thieves (and yaself if you forget to dissarm it) >_<

Hope ya get ya stuff back, or build up your collection quick mate

Thanks everyone for support and thanks for the help and advice in the posts above.

The yard has cctv and until now has not to my knowledge had any issues with theft. Live and learn eh?

I cant say too much but I had a call again this evening from another officer with some promising information regarding the next step in the case. Fingers crossed I will hear more in the next few days if things progress the way I hope.
Unfortunately I was not the only target and other peoples tools and other items were stolen. Again I cannot say much but between the different cases there are some links/evidence and things are now looking promising as far as the investigation side of things go.

Its very unlikely I will ever see my tools again as these things are moved on quickly but I am on google every night looking for adds and scouring ebay/gumtree etc.

They rummaged through my first aid kit so are probably looking for needles or drugs etc. This is even more of an insult as the items were probably sold of for next to nowt for some arm candy. w******.

Bought three for different areas. What a great idea.
Bound to alert someone locally when they hear a gunshot etc.

Update: CCTV footage of the other theft sent to bio section. (I can only guess that means they have a face in the footage?)
The crimes have been linked but I am not privy to info on the other crime other than the above.

Fingers crossed I will find out who it was. I dont care about the parts anymore or getting them back. I just want to know who it was :shifty:
