I don't care about if somebody is a learner, if their awareness is so bad they need reversing sensors in a Mini, they should not be on the road. A mini has the best all round vision of any car due to the tiny pillars, and there is no real back end except the bumper.

You can buy cheap parking sensor kits off ebay... I fitted a kit onto my mum's old Rover 75 years back and they worked a treat. But one short question, why would you need parking sensors when a mini has the best visibility of any car??!! Back to the sensors, im sure you'll be able to drill holes (just about) in the chrome bumper and stick some silver sensors there! Alex :)

We all own minis for one thing or the other but, i bought one because i am reliving my youth ( so the wife says ). and also because i am fed up with the technology on new cars.CKO do metal bumper kits.......

If i use the mini i leave the sat nav at home and use a reliable upto date map of Britain and look forward to getting somewhere in that way.
I can believe that kits are available but the most technological thing i have on my mini is an original set of 1970s twin air horns.
They don,t help you reverse but hell they make people jump!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went from my instructors car, to driving a panel van... In other words, went from reversing 'properly' to hanging out of the drivers door to look how close you were to something whilst reversing! ;)
