I've just re-read it and see you've poked a hole in there. to be honest the best process would be to replace that section anyway I guess.

I'm going to grind the rust back.the heel board looks pretty good but will need a ver small patch.. Bout size of little fingernail.. I havnt got the time nor funds to replace the whole panel.. That would also probably end up with fitting new sills if I wanted to get it perfect. my job now is remove stuck nut weld up heel board and get it back on the road.. In a few years ill drop the sunny and take the sills off too!
