I ran one a 28/36 on my std 998 cooper and used 23 primary 25 secondary chokes, with 125/140 main jets, air corrector 190/200, pump jet 70 and idle jets 45/45. worked very well and had good torque on a light throttle. its was jetted and altered slightly from the settings in vizards yellow book. went well on it to be honest and would not be afraid to use one again.

a 28/36 isn't an IDA/IDF or DRLA though!

hi, got mine setup a while ago, very good torque on light throttle as you said, and better top end i thought, sounded alot nicer than a hif aswell, people shouldnt be affraid of trying different things, i read tones of reviews of the 28/36 dcd saying it will be pointless and not as good as the hif but my results were totaly differnet, very happy with mine :)I ran one a 28/36 on my std 998 cooper and used 23 primary 25 secondary chokes, with 125/140 main jets, air corrector 190/200, pump jet 70 and idle jets 45/45. worked very well and had good torque on a light throttle. its was jetted and altered slightly from the settings in vizards yellow book. went well on it to be honest and would not be afraid to use one again.

dont know if they have ever made a IDF manifold for minis but maniflow do brand new IDA ones, not sure its the same fitment as a IDA, i would just make my own, or get a fabrication shop to make you one
