Hi guys sorry for not replying, I've not done anything too interesting on the mini, ive disassembled the whole back of my car and began to follow back wires from the lights. And too your questions my colour scheme will be ivory white (original) but with a black roof and I want to bring the black down to the bottom of the windows, I'm going with drums on the back and hopefully if I have enough I will be opting for 7.5 discs on the front. Hopefully I'm opting for a single carb option because I think twin carbs would not be too great for my little 848cc thanks guys pics soon!

It looks like a lovely mini and will be in my opinion spoilt with arches added. I do like your colour choice though! But I'll be watching this space no matter what you do :)
Buuut I suppose if it's not very original then it makes those that are more sort after and worth more maybe.

An original 1962 Mini 850 sold from the classic car dealer in the next village for £10,500 recently. It was nicely restored and had some period modifications like reverse rim 'S' wheels. In years to come one might expect a well-restored Mk.1 850 with some nice period mods to fetch well over £12,500. As soon as I get some space in my workshop I want to get going on my 1964 850. I was tempted to build a Mk.1 Cooper 'S' replica as I have virtually all the right bits, but, hey, I have a genuine one so I'll build this as an 850.
