The people that want a LWB Mini section, only want it so they can have more attention no?.

It's a yes from me I find that most of the project threads in engine builds are the same as complete rebuilds bar a few so it would be good to see just variant based project threads then I don't have to look at all you van/estate scumbags (I'm not jealous much). #iwantavan

Giving this a bump just to say that I'll let it run until a week has elapsed since the poll opened. I think at that point if it's still a land slide we have our answer.

As Kirby said why fix what isn't broken, all we should do is make sure people use the sections correctly. Mini Engine Builds for threads about building engines and Complete Mini Rebuilds about that.

Oh.....I thought Mini Engine Projects is for a mini with a mini engine in it.... a mini build that's not a complete restore.

That's why I was confused as I saw threads in there that applied to both sections.

But then, why would you need an A-series engine only section... how often do you build an engine and not put it in a car? And if it's in a car, that car is probably an ongoing project.

I feel this fix is less about separating the SWB and LWB into two sections but more about combining the two we have. Just that the LWB folks instigated it, and they wanted it, so we'll kill two birds with one stone.

I say yes, but for all my pickup stuff I usually go to minipickup.org.

On a side note I think we should implement people putting what their build is in the title instead of naming it something off the wall. Such as "1974 Mk3 1000" then maybe catchy name, instead of "My awesome Dukes of Hazard coloured car 'Daisy" or "The Purple People Eater' rides again" it's easier to know what a thread is about. Props for the creativity but I like to know what I'm getting into first

A race, rally and track day type build section would be pretty cool
