My rear quarter lights close themselves at speed, are the over centre catches adjustable/repairable or will new ones even do the same?

A bodge thats always worked for me is just nipping up the hinge pin gently with a pair of waterpump pliers - tiny bit of resultant deformation makes them a bit stiffer.... it's just wear & tear / age so new ones would be fine - for a while......
