1984
998cc
13x7 wheels
3.44 final drive

What speedo is correct for my car?

Quote take from your other post...

If the speedo is original to your 1984 mini then it'll either be a 90mph centre speedo which runs 1280 tpm or a 90mph smiths speedo ( dual clock ) which is in front of the drive, this will have a 1216 tpm...

so If you have 13" wheels and a 3.4 final drive, your drop ratio is 1:1 as standard, also the drop gear ratio does not affect the speedo drive ratio, just the RPM.

You can now use the previously advertised calculator ( http://www.guess-wor.../Tech/ratio.htm ) to work out the correct speedo drives, and one can only assume that at the moment you have the wrong ones installed.

This is your 3rd topic asking the same question.

The other posts main topics were different and I've made a seperate one for this specific topic because I haven't had an answer that has suited my circumstances.
