sorry to jump in but i have a similar problem. mine has cracked the weld around the top of the n/s front cone tower. it had a bottoming out issue for a while (do to cheepo ebay fake cones, d'oh!). as its just the weld that has cracked, im assuming it should be okay to grind back and replace the weld? what does everyone think?
